Govern.Cloud Documentation
Welcome to the official documentation for Govern.Cloud — the M365 governance platform built for IT administrators who need to bring order, visibility, and control to their Microsoft 365 environment.
What is Govern.Cloud?
Govern.Cloud is a comprehensive governance platform for Microsoft 365. It connects to your tenant via Microsoft Graph API and gives you centralized control over workspace provisioning, lifecycle management, guest access, sharing links, Copilot readiness, storage analytics, license optimization, and more.
Whether you are managing 50 workspaces or 50,000, Govern.Cloud provides the tools to enforce policies, reduce risk, and keep your environment healthy — without requiring end users to change how they work.
Who is this documentation for?
This documentation is written for IT Administrators, Microsoft 365 Administrators, and Security & Compliance teams who are responsible for governing their organization’s Microsoft 365 tenant.
You do not need to be a developer to use Govern.Cloud. However, some advanced features (API integrations, webhooks, Azure governance) assume familiarity with cloud administration concepts.
